Our History

Founded in 1998, Pevensey & Westham JFC’s aim is to provide quality football coaching to all abilities in a positive and friendly environment and is very much a family club.

The club gained it’s Charter Standard Development Club award in 2006 and in 2008 was announced as the Sussex FA’s Development Club of the Year.

On the 2nd of June 2009, it was announced that the club was to receive the Queen’s award for Voluntary Service (the is equivalent of an MBE) - a huge honour and recognition of all the voluntary work done over many years. The club received a commemorative crystal and certificate signed by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Our Girls section started in 2017 and has grown to over 40+ players, with some success in Leagues and Cups whilst representing Sussex Schools and players signed up by premiership teams.

Our Ladies team started in 2021 and this season will be playing recreational football in the Women’s Flexible Ultra League.
